So yesterday I auditioned for my schools production of ‘Into the Woods’, and I am pretty stoked. The audition went really well, not perfect, but I feel happy about it. Especially after my last audition… It really made me realize that not everyone can have a “great” audition every single time, because we’re only human. 

The callback list got posted at lunch today, and I made the first cut! (YAY) So I will have callbacks on Saturday from 1-3pm, so be thinking happy thoughts for me!

Anyone have any funny/bad audition stories?

  1. singdanceandact answered: I auditioned for a production of “Joseph”, and while singing my audition song, I FORGOT THE LYRICS ON THE SECOND VERSE! mortified.
  2. halfnotestoheaven answered: I got laryngitis for 2 weeks before and during auditions for ITW. I’m a soprano and had NO voice. I was called back and now I’m Jack!
  3. opusqe answered: Stupid director. She was always drunk and you, as an 8th grader, deserved a bigger role.
